Hi Keith , have you heard these, Born free now I'm expensive. I still miss my ex-husband/wife but my aim is improving. One in four people are unbalanced, think of three friends, if they seem ok, your the one. Retirement is when you stop living at work and start working at living. Of all the things I've ever lost I miss my mind most. Margaret. |

A Woman's Prayer Forgive, Dear Lord, my lack of grace, The day's so short, the countless tasks Leave little time for me to pray Save briefly at the close of day. To thank Thee Lord, for simple things, A blackbird preening on the lawn, The sunlight dappling through the trees, Bird-song at morn, cool summer breeze. A cottage doorway open wide For friends to enter as they will, The quiet happpiness it brings To love, Dear Lord, the simple things. By F.M. Walker |

Hi, A beautiful prayer Ann. One more for my journal. I think yours, Viv, is the AA prayer, if I'm not mistaken. Here's another one. When faced with a mountain, I will not quit. I will keep on striving until I climb over, Find a pass through, tunnel underneath, Or simply stay and turn the mountain Into a gold mine! With God's help! The Possibility Thinker's Creed, by Robert H Schuller |

I thought you might like this May there always be work for your hands to do; § § May your purse always hold a coin or two; § § May the sun always shine on your windowpane; § § May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain; § § May the hand of a friend always be near you; § § May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you. ann Glos |
