Greeting’s Sue. . . . Now how did you guess. . . .:0)))) I’ve had a look at that file on I.G.I. and sorry couldn’t see any Film. Folder, or page Numbers. ? ? Which tells me that it has come to LDS Site through someone’s tree, which they have picked up from Family History sites… Therefore is it reliable information ? See quote below from that file. . . . “ Record submitted after 1991 by a member of the LDS Church. No additional information is available.” My facts come from original records. . backed up with file numbers ect:. . . Now. . . I’m NO expert but thinking out aloud here. . . . To prove that “ William “ buried in Countesthorpe, is part of your Family will prove to be difficult. I doubt if there is a birth / Wedding certificates for “ William” through the usual out-lets. Due to the early dates. Any information we see today is someone’s transcribe from a fiche of the original parish record books And mistakes do happen. . .and YES we can have photo copies from these. ( I can have a look for his Wedding if he did marry at Countesthorpe, next time I’m at Wigston, But I think those years are not on fiches) The only other source of information would be through wills, probate, or deeds. . . Don’t think you can call for his death cert to see what information as again the early dates, and no cert. numbers to quote. . . So I think you will have to put this one to one side for the moment. . . But having said that I know that there will be an upgrade to the VRI disks, due to come out latter on this year. SO there maybe better information after then . . . I’ll get off my Soapbox now. . .:0))))) MIKE. |

Greeting's Again Sue. . . . Umm.. . That explains why a Thomas & Sarah Lord signed William & Mary's Wedding register then. Wonder if they were the parents of Mary ?. . . Now. . . we can delete that William Ringrose (1771) I found from Great Gidding Huntingshire . . . Just found his death. He was buried 28th. Dec. 1811. at St. Michaels Church in Great Gidding. . . . Do you know if there was any Children from the marriage of William Ringrose & Mary Lord ? Although it only lasted 6 years. . . Their names might just give you a clue as to who Williams Parents names were, they used to name them in strict order in those days. . . Ah well that's food for thought for tonight. . .:0))) MIKE. |

Greeting's Elizabeth. . . . From my resources I've found the following Family from the Earl Shilton District. Which could have well been in the MKT Bosworth Area in that time . . . . Mary Atkins. christened 14th. April 1822. Thomas. Christened 23rd. October. 1823. Elizabeth. Christened 16th. January. 1825. John. Christened 1st. February. 1827. The Parents of the above were. . William & Elizabeth. Sadly Thomas was buried 21st. July 1828 aged 4. Not sure if this Family fits in with your Family History. MIKE. |
