Just got this from a reliable source. It seems there is a virus called the "Senile Virus" that even the most advanced programs of Norton and McAffee cannot take care of so be warned! The virus appears to affect those of us born before 1960. Symptoms 1/ Causes you to send the same e-mail twice 2/Causes you to send blank e-mails 3/Causes you to send e-mail back to sender 4/Causes you to forget to attach attachments 5/Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person 6/ Causes you to hit SEND before you've finished e-mail Be warned!! |

Yes Trish I certainly have been affected! It also has the ability to make you go upstairs, get to the top , and completely forget why you are there! Sue |

AGEING GRACEFULLY or THE PERKS OF BEING OVER 50:- 1. KIdnappers are not very interested in you. 2. In a hostage situaation you are likely to be released first. 3. No one expects you to run into a burning building. 4. People call at 9.00pm and ask, "Did I wake you?" 5. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac. 6. There is nothing left to learn the hard way. 7. Things you buy now won't wear out. 8. You can eat dinner at 4.00pm. 9. You can live without sex but not without glasses. 10. You enjoy hearing about other people's operations. 11. You get into heated arguments about pension plans. 12. You have a party and the neighbours don't even realise it. 13. You no longer think of speed limits as a challange. 14. You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks in the room. 15. You sing along with the elevator music. 16. Your eyes won't get much worse. 17. Your investmnent in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off. 18. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service. 19. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either. 20. Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size. 21. You can't remember where you read this. |

Some more current viruses:- THE ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER virus...Terminates some files, leaves, but will be back THE LORENA BOBBITT virus... Reformats your hard drive into a 3.5 inch floppy, then discards it through Windows TONY BLAIR VIRUS…Suddenly appears from nowhere, promises to upgrade all your applications, gains control of your computer, then totally corrupts your entire system for years. |

Just found out about these:- Prince Edward Virus - Runs quietly in background mode but doesn't appear to really do much of anything. George Michael virus - Runs its course, occasionally releasing excess data buildup. |
