I've come to a dead end in my family tree and the only person that could help me has recently passed away. My grandmother on my fathers side was called Joyce Potter (nee Slack) (nee Palmer) yes you've guessed she was married twice - Palmer being the name she was born with. Whilst she was alive she kept going on about a connection to the name Belk. My g.grandmothers maiden name was Eaton and I cannot find her birth entry anywhere. (22/08/1895) I know my g.grandmother had two sisters Bella and Annie and they were in either Hull or Doncaster - conflicting info given to me via grandmas sister - in - law. Any Ideas where to go next !!!
