have you contacted the GMC to see if the great uncle who was a doctor is listed - you may be able to find out something from them - or they may be able to point you in the right direction - good luck in your searches |

My Grandmothers family were the Moykopfs, originally from Germant but residents of London since 1850's. I have followed my line with no difficulty but 2 great uncles changed their names from Moykopf to Latham and Maycroft. Looking for info on Charles Edward Henry Maycroft born 1900 Kensington and Edward Herbert Alfred Latham born about 1902/3, Kensington. Charles was a GP at 42 Oakley St, Chelsea and Edward was a garage proprieter living at 43 Tregunster St, Kensington. He married a Erika Whittingham and had 2 children Caroline and Charles. Any help to trace these would be invaluable. |
