Dear Kathy, I keep looking at your message and really don't know what to say to you and your family. I hope you realise that people are thinking of you all. Take care. Jacky |

My son's Doberman, "Portia", was put to sleep this morning and we are all in floods of tears as we loved her dearly. She would have been 13 years old in April, and still looked young and beautiful with bright intelligent eyes and a shiny black and tan coat. She also had a wonderful temperament and when she was well she would run like the wind. Unfortunately a few months ago she had great difficulty with walking and a problem with the nerves which connect to her muscles. She has been deteriorating ever since quite dramatically and this morning she could not get up at all. Adam had to call the vet to the house and she was put to sleep in the garden. He has now buried her there. I hope that life goes on for dogs as well as people. Kathy (welling up again)... |
