Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be used to either shorten or as a nickname for either of these names. I can find them both as Christening entries but nothing more. Thanks, Jacky :-) |

They are both names from the Bible. I suppose Caleb could be shortened to Cal? But I don't know about nahum. Sorry. :-( Good luck. :-)) Jim |

Hi Jacky I have Caleb's in abundence in my family. I don't think it would have been shortened. It is a Biblical name. Regards Sarah. |

Thanks anyway. I had just hoped that maybe there was somehting silly they would be known as such as John is often Jack. I cannot find anything about these 2 anywhere except their Christening. At least the rerst of them had easy names like Daniel, John, Sarah etc. Thanks for replying, Jacky :-) Just found this near the top of the list. No idea why as there were no further replies. It got bumped and it wasn't me! |
