Can anyone tell me how to find a seaman on 1871 who wasnt in his county of birth with his family at the time of the 1871 census? His name is pretty unusual...Headley Hines as thats his sons name and his granson and great grandson. Many thanks Debbi |

I think he may have been more of a mariner than a navel seaman...maybe a fisherman or something. He appears on the 1901 census in Ipswich with his son also Headley. If you do find anything on the your Hine link I have a elizabeth hine born in Stratton Cornwall in 1869!! Thank you for replying and for looking! Best Wishes Debbi |
