This morning I got a spoof e mail from Tesco net (my server)regarding e mails containing viruses being sent from my comp._______ It encouraged me to open an attatchment for more info on how to get rid of the viruses my comp was harbouring.____- Without opening the attatchment i contacted Tesco net who say its the w32/bagle.j virus. ________________-More info on this virus can be got from the mcaffe dot com website. Again my AVG free edition did not pick this up. so please be virus aware, your various servers will not send info to you in an attatchment. In any doubt DELETE. ************** Elaine x |

As has been said many times, spend £30 or so quid a year on a "proper" anti-virus e.g. Norton, Panda, McAfee: and have it automatically update daily. |
