Yes Brenda - me. Toppesfiled is 'next village' tp Stambourne and Birdbrook - and I lived there until about um - 20/25 years ago. Still live within 10 miles. Nice places all. Rosi

I'm an Essex girl too. Born Wickford, then Prittewell, Eastwood and Rayleigh, went to Sarfend High, returned from Midlands to Gt Baddow, then Cold Norton (Maldon), married lived in Toppesfield, then Earls/White Colne/Engaine, and now live in the border country between Suffolk and Essex - but remain an Essex girl - though a bit of a wrinkly one! Have mislaid me 'igh 'eels an' me 'andbag some time ago - make do wiv me specs and me dentures plus HRT.

It`s so nice to know, that there are people from all over Essex,reading these threads, I havn`t told you where I come from yet. I`ve lived in Essex all my life,and at the moment living in Tilbury. I`ve also lived in Chadwell-St-Mary,Stanford-Le-Hope,Grays(Blackshots),and spent all my working life on,or near, the river. Many thanks for the replies. Barry,(Baz),(Tonka).
