Real Player 8 (Non Gen Question)

Hi, Does anybody have any experience of Real Player 8 please. I want to look at clips and listen to Radio on BBCi but need Real Player 8. Thankyou, Sandra |

It really bugs me that you have to download Real Player to get anything from the BBC. When you do you also get loads of stuff you don't want or need but if you want the BBC on your comp you are stuck with it. At least it wont do any harm as long as you make sure that it doesnt go on line by itself. Get it from the BBC site. Bob |

Hi Bob, Thanks for replying. Does it try and take over from Media Player or something? I wish we could use something else. I like the BBC but don't fancy a load of grief. Sandra |

Sandra It will try to be the default player but you can opt out of that. I got it but only the player. I deleted the other bits. Don't worry about it too much it certainly won't do any harm. Bob |
