	i am looking for information about childrens homes in stoke on trent around these dates. The information is if anyone knows of any news reports about social services of these times. I know of 5 children who were in care homesand another child of the same family was adopted from birth, i also hear on different programmes and internet comments that children from care homes around this time have tried to trace family. My curiosity is why so many children in one area have assosiations with this as i only hear about stoke on trent. Any info would be of help, i am also trying to write a book about a child growing up in this environment. I have the name of St Christophers, not sure if this is a group or the street where the homes were. Thanks julie newport wales
