Our local newspaper has an article in it today regarding the publishing of over 1 million wills from the last 1 thousand years. They can be downloaded for £3 each and the website is www.documentsonline.pro.gov.uk. |

I used this site a while ago. If you can find a family will is is great. You download it easily enough but then have to decipher the handwriting!! |

I managed to find a Will from 1781 and yes it was a mess and virtually unreadable but I spent nearly a week cleaning it up on the computer and now have a wonderful piece of history added into my Family Tree. Sheila |
