I'm only 30 yet my parents were born in the 1920's & 1930's, my Grandparents in 1890's & 1900's, my G Grandparents in the 1860's and GG Grandparents so far in 1820's. Yet I constantly see people on here looking for 4x Grandparents in the 1870's. It's not fair! |

doesn't always work out that way. I am only 32 and my greatgrandparents was born in 1870's. My sister has a grandson who has all his great-grandparents alive, and four 2g grandarents. My old Uncle, the brother of his 3g grandfather, is his 4g uncle!!! |

Naomi, You have my sympathy - most of my 4x grandparents are pre-1800. Rick. |

My mother in law is only 5 years older than me....but looks much older , which is why I mention it on a history site . And her grandfather married his father's sister ,which is why they fled to the colonies....and explains a lot about the family. Fortunately she has no interest in family history...I think! |

I am 26, yet I have one GG grandfather born in 1828. From another line, I have one set of GGGG grandparents both born in 1822. In effect, I have a GG grandfather who was old enough to be the father of a set of GGG grandparents. |

Isn't it strange. My friend has just found a living GG Aunt age 94 living in California. |
