I loved Spangles, I think Woolies brought them out again a few years back but they were not the same. Things just don't stay the same, is it me but I swear Curly Wurly's are now tiny compared to how they used to be. Space Dust was just so cool, wish I had thought to try it on the dog lol. I remember Ringo's first time round, what has happened to them they are now crispy and not melt in the mouth!! Do KP still do crisps I loved there cheese & onion flavour and used to buy them by the box. Kevin, I think the stripy mint chews were Pacers and the chocolate bar was Milky Bar advertised by the Milky Bar kid who is probably older than me now(old)!! I have tooth ache tonight so I laughed when I read all these sweet memories and yes that is why I have a mouth full of fillings to, but it was worth it. Before I go, someone mentioned Nutty bars, oh how I could eat one now, I used to nibble all the nuts off first(bliss)night all, Janie xx |

I remember from the late 70's early 80's soft chewing mints that were Green and White stripes but can't remember the name and also the chocolate bar in a yellow wrapper, and i think they were advertised with a Cowboy or some other type of butch type person. what are the names this is going to bug me. |

I went on the website to buy some sweets, but changed my mind when my most favourite sweets where going to cost me £20 plus £4.33 for postage. I like sweets but not that much lol |

Hi all, I`ve just been browsing through the quarterof site, it looks really good. I`m now off to recommend it to my brother, who has a very sweet tooth. He also used to feed space dust to the dog when he was a lad! Rebecca |

Eileen, I've never seen tatties south of the border, not even when I first moved to England 30 odd years ago. Maybe I'll get a scottish friend to get me some in Safeways! |

Ahhhh fizz bombs why did you have to remind me of those. my mouth is full of fillings from all the old sweets I used to eat. It's funny i'm not that keen on sweets much anymore. I just like lemony sweets. I tell you what you try and buy a bag of lemon bon bons, strawberry you can pick them up anywhere but lemon oh no they dont. I reckon that is why I dont eat so many sweets now is because I cant find the ones I like. I'm really winding myself up here now I want all of my kiddy day sweets. Debbie |
