BEST BACK-UP PROGRAMME

As I don`t have a back-up system on my computer,I need to install one,Any ideas. I`m running XP,but the back-up programme isn`t there. Barry

Barry....you need to back up off your PC. Your computer has an A drive, which you could use to put information from your PC to a floppy disk. This choice would be best if you have no other resources at the moment. The flopppies don't hold much information and it may take several floppies to back all your information. Floppy disks are fairly cheap and no special program is needed to use this option. You could also purchase a CD burner which would allow you to back up your information onto a CD disk or you could purchase a zip drive, which is somewhat like a floppy disk but holds a ton more information. XP has a CD burning program that came with the system....you just need to purchase the burner if you don't have one. I prefer using a different program for burning CD's (Nero) which can be obtained at your local PC store or online.... Judy

Hi Judy, Thanks for that,I`ll keep it in mind,but a friend has just been on the phone and recommended the Norton Ghost 2003,what do you think ?
