Me, I love to paint landscapes. Oils, Acrylic and Watercolour. But these days I seem to be looking for the dead folk most of the time, just like most people on here. Sandra |

Looking for dead people, looking for dead photographers (in my tree!), photography, watercolour painting, playing guitar and recorder (badly), reading (anything), not really a hobby but writing my dissertation for my degree. The first two things on my list take precedence over the dissertation!!! Cooking, gardening, folk and classical music and ornathology. Very interested in lots of things and when I have time/money try to do them all. Viv. |

Cross stitching and reading are my two hobbies, other than of course looking for dead people. My Mum sells cross stitched items at craft fairs though, and Ive been roped in to helping, so its becoming more of a second job than a hobby! |

In what spare time this all consuming hobby of chasing dead rellies leaves me, my hobbies are: (in no particular order). Photography, making greetings cards (often using my photos), gardening, walking, collecting buttonhooks, letter writing (real letters posted snail mail), including three correspondence magazines (ask if you don't know what they are), cross stitch, although i am not very good and don't do it often. Going on holiday. Collect figurines - Royal Daulton ladies and Guiseppe Armani ladies. Collect three wise monkeys (although only have 8 as they are hard to find, mostly in brass). I did start to play golf but decided it was not for me, although I still have my clubs. Reading. For the person who asked, my daughter was Gloucestershire junior champion in archery but doesn't do it any more. She still has her bow though. It doesn't seem so popular, maybe because there aren't many clubs. |

Lynne Thanks for your comment. Morris dancing always seems to get a bad press these days, but it really is enjoyable, and the people involved in it are as nice as the ones in GC! Also (like ballet dancing for men) people laugh at the thought of men waving hankies and dancing with flowery hats on, but it's actually very hard work if you're doing it properly! |
