I know you'll think I'm mad, in my younger days, I've stayed up all night to get tickets for a match |

Agreed Lynda ! Come on Millwall ! (Don't tell anyone else I said that though - at least they've got one of our old boys at the helm). Rick. |

Dont' get me wrong, I like football, I watch my boys play, but to get up a Sunday morning at 5.15, no I don't like it that much!! They have just telephoned to let me know they have arrived safety and they are in the ground "soaking up the atmosphere". Up the Lions. Sue |

Ive been told many many times by my nephew and sister how wonderful it is to go watch a live football match...personally, I just can see what the attraction is....... as far as I can see they are all totally barking! |

I agree with Jean, my sentiments entirely, they could be doing far worse, just be thankful it's football. As you can gather I love the game so I am biased. June |

Sue, They are not mad at all. Believe me there is nothing like a 'live' football match. In my younger days, if Spurs had made it to the semi-final of the F.A. cup, I would have travelled to the end of the earth to watch them. How can your team win if you are not there to give them vocal support. Good luck to your husband and sons, may they have a great day, win, lose or draw. Jean x. . |

Hi Sue, they're the mad ones. Why go out in the cold to stand around for a few hours to watch a group of men kick a ball around a field? |

My hubby and 2 sons got up at 5.15 this morning to travel up to Manchester to watch Millwall v Sunderland, WHY it's on T.V. it's not the same they tell me. Apparently I am the mad one for not going with them!! Sue |
