There seem to been squillions of them currently living around the Nairnshire area of North East Scotland. I know this because I used to work there. I think they spelled it McGiliivray though. Lynne |

Elizabeth, Thanks- that will be something to go on. The spellings seem to vary within the family anyway so I would still try and follow up on your one. Do you happen to remember if he had a Scottish connection? Or anything else- thanks Isobel |

i used to go to school with andrew mcgilvry (sorry not sure how he spells it) that was in st helens merseyside he will be 42 now and was a milkman.dont know if this is any help but good luck elizabeth spurgeon |
