After years of battling with my oldest son to use "his" computer in "his" bedroom, my son, who is currently doing a networking course, has networked my old computer up to his. Result? I can use the internet in my bedroom anytime I like, while he uses his! No more waiting for him to go out, watch tv, or fall asleep, before I can sneak on!! Luxury!! I am so excited I don't know what to look for first!! Best wishes to you all. Carol, sat at her OWN computer at a time SHE wants to!!

Ooh Luxury. I have two pc's Onedesktop and a laptop. Wish I had a clever boy to set mine up. Have to work downstairs and much rather be in JimJams upstairs in the evening. Scared to plug in all bits and bobs so upstairs not on internet, even though have things to do it. Sandra

Networking is not for the faint hearted. If all your machines are running XP it is a little easier... Pop down to PC World and pick up the network cards for each one and some ethernet cable, open up the cases and install the cards, connect up the cable and Bob's your uncle. Of course if you want a hub with a server or a wifi setup then you may have more trouble. Once you have installed it then bribe the clever kid next door with promises of ice cream, home cooked dinner or kinky *** to get him round to make it all work. Bob ps I bet Crista could give us a proper answer...
