I'm trying to date my grandmother's ring, it was given to her by her great aunt, we think. The problem is it doesn't have any hallmarks on it, just '18 ct'. Does anyone know if there is any way of finding out anything more?! Chloe |

Go to Google and type in gold hallmarks. Lots of info on there! |

The hall mark may have worn off with age, or it may not have been made in Britain. suggest you take it to an antique dealer who will be able to date it for you. Good luck,Denis tfn Newcastle. |
