Judith No you were not being selfish. I saw you had taken off your message, you shouldn't have done. I am happy for you and you show that positivity can really make a difference. Thank you Lynda

I would just like to add a huge thank you to all of you wonderful folk out there for all your lovely messages, I'm afraid I shed a few tears as I read them. The kind thoughts, those who are or have family suffering from the same, and messges of hope. They will all be passed on to Kath, and I know she will be so touched. There is something to be said from prayer and positive thoughts. Thank you Lynda

Arthritis is something that has been handed down in our family. It can be extremely painful. My mum has had problems for years; my aunt suffered greatly and I've also inherited it. I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. I am sending my very best thoughts to you and your sister-in-law. Perhaps with a little bit of time, she may feel better, because when I am "stressed" my arthritis, carpal tunnel and tendonitis can be extremely painful. I don't write as eloquently as a lot of GC people, but what I am trying to say is that I'm hoping that once you both see how much we all care, that her pain will lessen.

i laugh and joke a lot, but please believe this time I am deadly serious. Each night I will pray that God sends down his loving angels to watch over your sister, easing her pain, giving her courage, and strength to endure.

My sister in law Kath who lives in Wales is suffering badly from Rheumatoid Arthritis, it was diagnosed in September last year, a month after my Husband (her brother died) She is not only going through grieving, but has this illness which at this time is really aggresive and is crippling her. I have just come off the phone to her and I know she is so down, although she tries to hide it and there is nothing I can do to take it away from her. I just thought how kind everyone is on this site, maybe even if a few people could help. Thank you Lynda
