Hi Suzanne A while ago you asked for feedback on the LDS centre in Orpington. I was at the centre this morning. The staff are friendly and helpful, but I didnt find the parish records that I ordered very helpful - on the baptism records the mothers maiden name isnt mentioned and on the early marriage records the fathers name isnt mentioned. All of the details I looked at, I had already seen on the Familysearch site, the only additional information I found out was the fathers profession on baptism records and on marriage records which parish the bride and groom came from. Hopefully your have more success than I did! Karen |
