Baz, pleased to hear your mum is getting better. She's got a lot to come to terms with, my mum hated her "bag" and never really got used to it. I had to go and change it for her every morning cos she couldn't bear to look at it. It's a big thing for a women, maybe more so than for a man. Please be patient with her. Sheila x |

Just a quick update on mum, Saw her tonight,,,no tubes at all,,,,eating quite well,,quite lively, but still tired. She`s come to terms with the `bag`and this holds no fear for her, in fact she was talking about going home. She`s got some colour back in her cheeks, and been out of bed with a walking frame held by a nurse. So, I think, at last things are beginning to come together, ( cautiously ). Barry. xx |
