Update : Firstly, let me say how touched I am,for the way you kind people have taken the time to write to me. You are truly, a great bunch of people. Bless you all. I`ve been to see my mum this evening, and she`s a little more aware of what`s going on. Got some colour in her cheeks, and talking quite well, but still early days yet. I`ve told her about your kind wishes and prayers, and she is very much taken aback,by your kindness, especially from people she has never met. She has asked me to thank you all, which I do now. Updated, with love to you all. Barry. XXX |

My dad has some serious health problems. My cousin has been telling me "just take one day at a time" which is the only way I have been able to handle the past couple of weeks. Barry, just take one day at a time; it's all that you can do. I'm wishing you and your mum the best. Hugs, Lisa |

Hi Baz I work on a ward where this sort of surgery happens quite often, I can understand how your mum , and you must feel. I know that she must be getting very good care and Im sure that the hospital where you are must have a specialist team of stoma nurses who can help your mum come to terms with her surgery, Keep smiling for her,,she will get better as each day passes and she is in my thoughts and prayers Claire |

Baz yes I will add my prayers to those that are being offered. Collective prayer is so powerful, doesn't matter if you or the person being prayed for has a strong faith or not. You have heard the saying" its the thought that counts." take comfort from the fact that all these prayers are already helping your mum, God bless Terri xx |
