Hi all, An update about my mum. I`ve just been to the hospital, and have been told by my dad, that mum had a small heart attack, last evening. She`s ok at the moment, but the next 24 hrs will be critical. Keeping my fingers crossed, and everything else as well. Please everybody, keep praying. Baz.. XXXX |

Hi Baz, I'm so pleased your mum is feeling a bit brighter. She must find it a comfort to have all your love and support and this will be the best thing to help her in her recovery. Take care and keep your chin up. Sheila x |

Before I sign off for tonight. May I say to you Baz; take heart and put your trust in the lord. And I pray that he will protect your mum and yourself with his love and grace;bringing your mum to health and fitness very soon. May his blessings be with you both now and always. Ernest Prendergast |

I would like give an update to my mums progress, especially to those people who have sent their kind prayers and wishes, since the last update. I must admit, I`m overwhelmed be the responce, from so many kind people from all over the world, for that , I thank you. I know that what she has just endured, is proberbly commonplace, but it still strikes home, just how frail the human body is, and just how much it hits you. I hate to see a loved one in trouble, but with the kind thoughts etc, from people I`ve never met, makes it so much easier to cope with. I saw mum tonight, and she seems to be improving all the time. I`ve told her of your good wishes, which I think, cheered her considerably. I can`t say much more than this at this time, except, THANK YOU, to you all. Baz, XXXX |

Barry, I am thinking of you. She will be quite shocked I am sure but the doctors and nurses should be able to minimise her pain with medication. She will probably need to see the physio over the next few days to make sure that her chest stays clear so make sure that she tells them she wants a little extra medication before they start their session with her. If she needs to cough whilst you are with her make sure she holds a pillow across her wound to support it and minimise the pain. And if you can get her to "sigh" hard as if she was exaggerating being fed up to shift any mucus from her lungs without having to cough hard. Best wishes Abigail |
