A friend of mine had her first when she was 43! It wasn't planned but everyone delighted with the outcome! |

I did!! Wife gave birth to our baby boy last year and I was 47!! but I am a bloke ... does that count???!!! Martin |

Just wondering if there is anybody else out there who has had or considered a child after the age of 40? It seems so many woman in the 1800s had children late, I know some started and didnt stop lol but for some the first came along at 40 plus.I thought this was a modern thing or have I got it all wrong lol.
