Does anyone know anything at all about the Brissenden family, who were supposedly smugglers from the Goudhurst, Kent area? |

Thanks Di, someone else mentioned the Hawkhurst Gang too so it's worth a look. The pub you visited is still as you describe although they make seem to make a living selling moules and frites as well as English cream teas! |
