Jay I know it's an old wives tale, but in the past whenever I did get a sty, I always rubbed it with a gold ring. You can buy Golden Eye ointment which also works pretty well. Lynda |

I used to get a lot of styes as a child. Used to bathe with water and use golden eye ointment. Maybe you could do with some extra vitamins - vitamin B?? worth asking your doctor or chemist. |

Hi Not for stys, but for warts. My daughter suffered terriblly with warts over all her fingers, she must have had dozens of the things.. She was told by my Dutch mother-in-law to pee over her hands every morning for 2 weeks, and they would be gone. Needless to say, she was horrified at the thought, but even more horrified at keeping the warts, so reluctantly she did it. Guess what, the warts all disappeared...honest...and she has never suffered with them since! Can you believe it! Lisa xx |

Savoy cabbage leaves down your bra to ease discomfort for breastfeeding mums. Still recommended by a very wise midwife I know. Angela |
