Sounds to me as though the programme has a few corrupt files ,i would suggest deleting it ,and reloading ,then see if it works okay If that dosn,t work shout for Judy in the states ,if that lady hasn,t got the answer, you are in bother. Denis. |

Hi John Hubby says it sounds as if the drive isn't registered properly, so try re-installing the software (after you've de-installed it first). Hope this helps; if not, post another message or feel free to email direct, I'll be on the pc on and off throughout the evening. Good luck! |

Hi John, I always go to the PC ADVISOR site. Put PC Advisor in Google and it will come up. There will be someone in the Forum who will help. Very Techi people on there. Very quick and easy to use and you get an email when someone replies if you are not logged in. Join up is Free. Sandra |

I have just had a new pc built, it did not want to know my rather expensive Microtec scanner. After messing around desperately trying to get it working I took the pc and the scanner to the PC builders and threatened those very nice people with the direst of black spells. 2 hours later it was buzzing away like a goodun. If the scanner was new at xmas take it back and tell them what system that you are using. It could be a fault in thwe scanner or it could be that your PC is to old to be compatible with it, in which case OOPS. Best of luck ERNEST |
