Do you collect strange things? I collect spoons, I have about 150 spoons from just about every country, a wooden love spoon from Wales, a Wajang puppet silver spoon from Indonesia. I have very small spoons and very large. My husband has made a rack for me from board with holes in and threaded elastic through this to hold the spoons. |

I collect cut glass mustard pots...the sort with metal lids....glass cake stands and old christmas postcards, I have enough cake stands to open a tea shop |

Elaine, My spoons are not for use just for show. I cleaned them all up and sprayed them with hair lacquer, so you don't think I'd use one of them now, do you? Not likely |

Sylvia, Hair laquer is for HAIR, POLISH is for SPOONS ! Diddn't think you needed to polish wooden spoons ????? Elaine x :o) ps: Er, you dont put polish on your hair...do you ? |

I collect thimbles too, but I go for antique, unusual, etc. I started off by collecting thimbles from various places. I now also go for sewing kits (etui), needle holders, etc. M. |
