I have just had a phone call from my very excited 6 & a half year old Grandaughter. GD: "Grandma, Grandma guess what. Something very exciting has happened". ME: "What?" GD: "I was eating my breakfast and my tooth came out" ME: "Your first tooth! Are you going to put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy?" GD: "Oh no, I'm putting it under Grandad's pillow, the fairies are richer at his house!" Turns out her older sister put her first tooth under other Grandad's pillow and the fairies left a £2 coin! Only got 6d in my day! My kids got 5p. Certainly rich fairies at other Grandad's house! LOL Sue

In our house the fairies leave a shiny £1 coin and a tiny thank you note in very curly writing!

Susie Of course that's what we're for! And making cakes and biscuits, and letting them paint and play with dough, and reading lots of stories, and talking about "in the olden days" and giving lots of cuddles etc etc! But would we be without them? No! LOL Annie with guitar That's lovely for the fairies to leave a little letter. We always say that the fairies take the teeth to make into a pearl necklace for the fairy queen. Sue

Hi Sue Loved your story. Sounds as if your granddaughter has quite a 'business' head on her. Norah
