What does the ring look like? How lovely for you - a lovely keepsake. My husband bought me a friendship ring (at least I think that's what they call them), it's a V-shape and gold with engravings on. He bought it is Africa and gave to me in Cairo. |

We rarely go to a pub, mostly drinks at home, comfortable chairs, etc. etc. but I know when my "happy hour" is. As you say, a time to relax at the end of the day. No children anymore at home, but get a lot of visitors dropping in. |

I first came across "Happy Hour" in America, but since then have seen placards outside pubs in Spain advertising "Happy Hour", and now here in the Netherlands would you believe it we also have "Happy Hour". When is your Happy Hour? We, my husband and I, always start about 16.00 hours with drinks before dinner, so if you get some funny threads on this board around that time, you'll know why. After dinner around 17.00 hrs we have a siesta and then we have a long evening. We used to drink in the evenings, but not any more now we're older, unless we have visitors! |
