Do you know I think my husband likes me to have the computer as a hobby! He can then read his vast collection of books in peace! You see our computer is in a room apart from our sitting room. I've never seen anybody read so many books as my husband. Mind you 90% are war books. He has read books from the library - as well as owning some - on all the different wars. From the Crimean, Biafra, WWII. You name it he has read it. It's impossible to get a word over to him, apart from "would you like a coffee", then instant response. I've stopped making coffee for him now in the evenings, he can make it himself. No ill feelings, but I cook, wash, iron, do the housework myself, so feel at the end of the day that he can do something. I must teach him to boil an egg before his 80th birthday next year. Don't think that I don't like reading. Of course I do, but I have so many hobbies, and if I have a book, then I must read it until I've finished it!!!!!! |

He wrote technical books in English on how to use various machines. A bit different from war books! |
