My twin daughters are now 23. On a personal level I was lucky that they were extremely close and did not argue as children. They accepted that they each had their own belongings and did not mind sharing with each other. During their lives I think their closeness has been a threat to lots of people, so they never had a best friend, and all friendships were difficult. Since they have both had their current boyfriends things have changed. The girls are constantly competing against each other. The boyfriends do not like each other or the other twin and this causes huge problems. I think the boys are jealous of the close relationship of the girls. They do stick together where I am involved though! Jill |

I have twin sons aged 6 and whomever said twins share a bond etc etc etc was wrong in my case!!! mine are always fighting and arguing, it drives me nuts. As for dressing the same, i try not to but it's hard as one child always wants what the other has, so i can't really win. Kath x |

Do you share a computer? Do you dress alike? My daughters were not twins but because there was not much age gap I used to dress them alike. They shared a bedroom too, and many a time had a good argument, throwing sweets at each other, throwing records across the room. Yes, all part of growing up. They always ended up laughing though, and still talk about it. |
