Chris - are you aware that Abergavenny is particularly famous for two things? wonderful jazz festival (did she die with a smile on her face?) and a lunatic asylum!!!! Now, was it some old smoothy with his trombone who serenaded her to death, or some poor demented creature who jumped out on her, and frightened her to death? The South Wales Argus might have a report on the event, although Monmouth is probably nearer and I dont know the name of their local newspaper. Worth investigating though - would love to know. Just thought I would ask what you think about this one. A second cousin x2 removed, that I found on GC, told me that one of our relatives was murdered and she was found in an alley. The family all suspected that the Husband probably did it until they sent for her death certificate which stated that she died from heart failure brought on by extreme fear OR extreme excitement. So did she die sad or happy? I don't suppose we'll ever know!!!!! - Chris |
