My granddaughter of 21 years is learning to be a beautician and next Monday has an examination. Her mother, my daughter, has offered to be her model. Thinking of lovely massage, beauty treatments etc. No, she is going to be shaved under the arms. I never thought this would come under beauty treatment! |

It probably wouldnt in Italy!! I think I read somewhere that underarm hair (nearly said underhair arm then - must be the vino!) is a sign of beauty in some latin countries. No doubt I will be corrected if I am wrong. I suppose actually there must be a right and wrong way to remove unwanted hair, so why not have an "examination" in the subject? All I know is that deodorant is a no no for a time if shaving is the preferred method of removal (unless of course you dont mind your eyes stinging!) Jacqui |
