Hello Karen - thank you for your message, l am so sorry.Life really is so short and precious - we have to enjoy every moment we can!!! Take care x Whilst we were in Birmingham with son and family l was asked if l had any photo's of his f i l. l knew l had and this morning l have sent it via email, plus l have printed 3 copies to post later today - it was taken in March on his wifes 60th birthday party surprise and he's holding his grandson - it is a beautiful photograph. They are so pleased, although it had'nt arrived 30 mins ago,so have sent it again.l am usually one of those people who are a pest with a camera and l know he did'nt really want me to take it - sooooo pleased l did. Hello there, I am sure you will get great comfort from the people who have replied to you. I am also sad, in the last two weeks we have had two deaths, not family mind you but my blokes friend died last week, of illness, only in his 40s he has left two teenage children. we went to the funeral friday just gone, very sad. And the week before last, our neighbours (only in their early 20s) lost their brother in law and his father in a road accident. Again like you everyone is shocked. They were 52 and 30 year of age and the son left 3 kiddies under 5 so our heart goes out to them. I dont know about you but I think it helps a lot to share your grief and get fed back from people who know what you are going through........ am thinking of you, best wishes karen |

Dear Jude, please accept my condolences regarding your sad news. It helps to remain positive and there are two things to look forward to, the wedding and the expected baby. I'm sure your son's future father-in-law would have wished this. Just remember, they have not passed away, but are only in the next room. with best wishes, Sue |

Me again - my son rang earlier to ask us both to go up to them, which we are going to do except, l can't get hold of hubby to tell him,he'll arrive home from work and have to leave again within the hour - wish he would remember to take his mobile with him.Got the dog organised, a neighbour is popping over a few times to walk/feed her,she has liver probs and the heat in car would be too much. So once again thank you all, speak again tomorrow. Jude x |

Jude So very sorry to hear your news. My sincere condolences to your son and his fiancee, and the rest of the ramily. At least they have the comfort of knowing that his passing was peaceful and that he was surrounded by the love of his family. Lorr sent me a beautiful poem last week when my friend passed away - it was a great comfort both to me and to her family, and it was read out at her funeral. Lorr may have emailed it to you, but I will email it as well just in case. Love, hugs and prayers to you all, Mandy xx |
