Kylie why not have a word with the school - it could be that the sex ed lesson is coming up anyway. I think that here it is done at age 9/10 now. Personally I never knew a thing until those lessons at age 11 - even then they were just technical and the 'truth' didn't sink in until several years after!! Still, I made up for it later though!!! Anyway, also have a look at your library as there are loads of books now which treat the subject in a humorous but informative way - they would be probably in the 'teenage' section, or in the 'parents collection'. Don't envy you though as my daughter is 8 and once she starts asking questions she is on the subject 24/7! Have fun!! Maz. XX

my nine year old son is asking alot of questions about the birds and the bees when do you think is the best time to tell them ,at the moment i have answered as easily as i can without going into to much detail i was 8 comming up 9 only because my mum was pregnant with my brother and i just feel 20yrs on it is a different world out there for kids what do you think?
