Help. We have hit a brick wall. My husband's GGgrandfather was born in Scotland in 1798. His name was John Campbell. We think in Inverary. He married Nancy McLeod (possibly Annie) who was born in 1815 They ended up in Canada at Glengarry County in 1840's and then Essex County in Ontario, Canada in 1851. The problem is that we can not find a record of them travelling to Canada. Not sure where to look. We are also not sure whether they married in Scotland and the date that might have occurred or whether they married in Canada. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mary |
