When I was very young I remember my mum completing a census form and complaining at how intrusive some of the questions were. She maintained for years that she had listed our two pedigree cats on the form using their certified names: Mocka Misk Mogo, aged 2 from Burma (Burmese cat we called Flo!!) and Lumsdale Sam, age 1 from Siam (our Siamese cat called Sam!!) I never have managed to get the truth out of her, and dread to think what our ancestors will think if she genuinely went through with it lol |
