And when you have made that list, in these days of moving money around easily, remember to keep it up to date. Still thinking of you Elisabeth Ann Glos |

Thank you! We had decided we needed to make new wills as ours were about 20 years old. They still had a provision for guardian's for our sons when they were tiny. They would still be valid but now we can just make provision for one son. He is also going to draw up his will, and has already made a list of his banking etc. and put it with ours. At least he remembers conversations with his brother about some of the internet banking good deals around, so we may track down most of the money. It may be months before it is granted probate etc. |

Take time to make a will, and make a list of all the investments, premium bonds, savings etc. We had done this a few weeks ago as my husband is nearing retirement and we needed to work out what capital we have. My son has recently died and left no will. He has a few investments, but being in the e-commerce business and using the internet constantly, we think there may be investments with no paperwork, which could be lost forever. We have placed our list with our wills - I urge you to do the same. You may think you have little to leave, but with a current account, a saving book for a building society and a few premium bonds bought by Granny years ago, it all adds up. |
