i know first hand what its like being lonely, after my divorce,it was only by thinking of my children, that stopped me from doing something stupid! then,my friend wanted to upgrade his pc,and offered to sell me his old one quite cheap, relunctanly i agreed, and within a few days,i managed to work out how to switch it on lol...since then,i have never looked back,i have made dozens of good online friends, and lonliness is a thing of the past. so,back to my original point!...i really do think, that computers should be made available to senior citizens, free of charge, and there should also be a home training programme,to allow them to get the most enjoyment from their pc...there must be thousands of lonely pensioners out there, just crying out for some kind of company, and maybe this is the answer. best wishes....bryan. |
