Hi Chris Up until very recently, the law didn't allow relatives of adopted people to search for them - but it has now changed so you should be able to look at records. There is a very good adoption organisation called Norcap who will be very helpful, their website is www(.)norcap(.)org - remove the brackets. Do you have any more details, ie her mother's name? My name is Chris Highton and I live in the Rochdale area, Lancs. My wife had a sister born c.1964-66. Adopted immediately at birth possibly at Upton Court Park Hospital and possibly with red hair. |
