Was it definitely Kent? There is a Romsey in Hampshire and I know there were alot of BROOMFIELDs in that county. If you go to the Guild of One name Studies site, you will find a list of names people are researching. There is a special study of BROOMFIELDs. Perhaps the co-ordinator will be able to help you. |

I am trying to contact any relitives of my late Granfather who was born in Romsey in kent approx 1906, he served in the RN for many years joing as a boy ailor at the age of 15, he moved to NZ and served in the Kiwi navy during ww2 and married Loma Clarke........cheers a gratefull granson |
