Hi Jo I think it was a lovely thought. I'm surprised that your friend forgot, we still remember the date our dog died and it was 14 years ago. In a different context, someone said to me in the past year 'You can't be responsible for someone else's reactions'. It's very true and I try to remember this. You have been a very good friend and have done nothing to chastise yourself for. Take care, love Mandy :) |

Thank you all for your kindness, you've made me feel better I'm such a dipstick sometimes even when I try to be a good friend. LOL Jo,x. |

My friend lost her lovely dog a year ago yesterday. I made a bunch of flowers up from my garden, tied them up with ribbon and put them on her doorstep with a little note saying,'thinking of you, love Jo' She rang me and asked why I had done this and I realised she had not remembered at all so I had to tell her why, then she said I had reminded her, but thank you for the flowers anyway. She was'nt very pleased and now I feel awful. |
