Just had a thought, if you email someone on this site through GR and they don't reply, is it because they cannot reply if they have not paid their membership, Sue.............. |

Could be... All sorts of good reasons. Lots of e-mails get blocked as spam by over zealous ISps. |

I didn't think you could email people if they wern't paid-up members. That is my vague memeory of the situation but my memeory may be going at my great age. |

Do you think that the emails that we send are going to people's junk mail and maybe they don't even bother to look at them they just get deleted after 7 days..I always check junk mail I don't open it all but if I saw GR I would open it..... |

Hi Sue Somebody posted on here that she was a full member but her daughter was a non paying guest. She said she could email her daughter through the site. What she didn't say was whether the email goes to her daughters outlook express or her contacts on GC. Jeanette |

It is not generally realised that a lot of e-mails get "lost in the ether". My experience of those sent via GR is that even more never reach their destinations so, if its important, keep on trying. Send a follow-up message - or more. len |

If you are not a paid up member you have no access to the boards therefore you have no access to members or their Email addresses, unless you arre a friend. at least that is what I have understood. Ernestxx |
