Ive done that too. But never found anything. I think they must be exempt from the registers.... not really that fair though because it's not like they can be used against them in any way..... how come all of our certificates are out for the taking, but they're exempt? Unfair!! Chloe |

Connected idea: I've tried to look for royal events on GRO lists. I've looked for Queen's marriage, Charles and William being born, Victoria dying etc etc. I don't want the certs, it's just for fun. Looked under various names and found nothing! |

That is the 1881 census. You can search for her at Family Search - put QUEEN THE in the surname box. |

Lisa, I have viewed the census for Buck house, but for the life of me I can't remember where I found it, I will have a think and get back to you, if I can remember. I expect some clever person with a better memory than me will help you. Hubby tells me loss of memory is an age thing!! Sue |

Hello Everyone I noticed a banner advertising the census returns on Ancestry that mentioned nobody was exempt - including the queen. I've spent ages trying to find Buckingham Palace on the 1891 - even just staff. Can it be found? Lisa |
