Gawd!! Yesterday I got my results for my third and final year at uni (studying Psychology). I went to Bristol UWE. A friend looked on the board for me and it said that I had to retake my Psychology of Religion module. I was devasted. I have never failed anything.... I've done badly, but not failed. I was in tears most of the evening. My sister suggested that I ring the uni up.... and when I did and got the same answer, she suggested that I email them asking 'why'. I had got 64% for my seminar presentation (50% of module mark), and it was a seen exam for which I had thoroughly prepared and studied for. I got a reply just now saying that they had no record of my seminar presentation!! I have 10 working days to appeal, and by God I will! I have the evidence of my grade.... that bloody module leader.... Josh Schiewso.... sounds like Zippy from Rainbow, obviously has the same intelligence level as a puppet too! Fingers crossed.... Thanks Donna and Sandra. I have rung them up again and they are taking responsibility..... which means I don't have to go through the whole annoying appeal process. Yay! Still don't know the exact class of my degree though.... .grrr! |

Hi everyone! I got my mark! I'm not overly enjoyed with it, but I did work pretty hard considering the problems I have had at uni. I got a 2:2..... now all I need is a job! Chloe |

Thanks. It is a great relief. Don't graduate until November though, but even then it is in Bristol Cathedral which is pretty cool. |
