Hi Wendy I was only thinking of you this morning when I was trawling through the boards, and wondering how little Susie was getting on since your last update - so I was really pleased to read this latest message and hear such good news! I am so glad that she is doing so well, what a little fighter! You and her dad must be so relieved to have her home. Please give Susie a big hug and kiss from me, and I hope that her recovery continues well. Love and prayers, Mandy :)) |

A very big thank you to everyone who sent messages of support to Susie before she went into hospital last Monday. The good news is that she was discharge from hospital this lunchtime and is happily sitting in her dad's lazy-ee-boy with remote controls to hand. She has made a remarkable recovery from a fairly serious operation lasting 10 hours on Tuesday and giving the medical time, not to mention her mum - me - a scare on Wednesday night. She is extremely tired, but moving about and looking forward to sleeping in her own bed tonight. We still have a way to go, with follow-up appointments and getting Susie's energy levels and mobility up to speed, but she is determined and she will get there. She always does. Once again, thank you to all the wonderful strangers at there. |
